Tony, I used a clean yard sprayer when I removed popcorn. I had a wide scraper and a large trash can underneath to catch as much as possible. I was done in relatively short order. I'm sure you have it figured out.

Ya , pump up yard sprayer with water in it.. I put a large chunk of plastic down.  Vacuum up what the plastic does not catch.

I have a 18 inch wide blade scraper with long handle. Can stand on the floor , scrape easily..  My shoes soles do clog up tho with texture stuff. I thought about using my wheel barrow to catch the texture.

House is coming along real nice, Tony. I'd definitely wet the popcorn first. A lot of it has asbestos.
