Mustang and fenders are poly-primered now.  :)

The Nomad bottom got Raptor linered yesterday after I left. Should be sitting on new frame next time I see it. Should look less goofy with a level stance.

Br'er built a swing at Mom & Dad's but I am scared of it.

Didn't think one pic could break the thread.

Figured I'd go to a car show today, there has always been one alongside the annual bike rally but nothing now. So I reckon I've been to my last automotive event and probably played my last role in modifying them. All thats left is for the 455 to start ticking. Then I'll have two classics to dump in the car shredder and that will be that. Bummer. Its just as well, an environment to use them in no longer exists either. Its like... overwith. Just like the rally event schedule, a list of unknown bands plus "shopping and food at...". With all the locally explosive population growth, a guy would think that it would go the other way. But nope, wrong kind of population. Nowhere left to run. Only all bondo twenty miles away, forever until death. Neato. :)

Well yep, busted the thread I reckon.

Turns out the new frame for the Nomad wasn't for a Nomad. Couple of body mount locations under the seat brace differ. Other guy fixed it.

WZ JUNK, what's happening to it?  Looks like it's sinking into the ground.

1FAT GMC is resting in the dry Utah atmosphere. (Probably day dreaming of days on the road and Bonneville)  There are plans for its restoration.

Its owner is in good health and presently working on a huge model N train layout.  If you know Sumner, you know that it is something really special.

I went to the Goodland Ks fall fest and car show. It was a good day. Good turnout and good weather until after about lunch time. Then the wind came up. I hit the road and came home.

I just tried the link and clicking on it worked. We have a work around for video links now, I think. :)

What am I doing today?  I rebooted my laptop (I use Opera), and it restarted with Opera 1, and I was on Opera 95.0.  Needless to say, it wiped out ALL my bookmarks and speed dials. I'm very p*ssed off.  I'm on an older laptop right now, using Opera. My other laptop will convert back to only using Chrome, but it will take a while to get things right. Dammit.

Phil, in case you don't know, you can export your bookmarks to a file and then reload them on your other computer. I'm using Opera 1. Is there a chance it started a new window that is blank and your settings are hiding in the browser somewhere? I didn't lose my stuff in the upgrade. Maybe I got lucky. :)

Bill, I'm still working on it, but it's not a priority right now.  I tried to restore to an earlier date, and the update totally removed all my restore points.  I DO have a list of the speed dials, so I'll try to see if I can get them back on the screen.  I'm reverting to using Chrome, and my wife has installed speed dials on that home page, just haven't worked on figuring out how to get them to work yet.

At the top of the page, the 69GT body was freshly polyester primed. It is now freshly urethane primed. I am still blocking poly on the fenders and doors. We got a shaker hood in for it finally but it was shaped like a banana.

And the pair of 2" wider fiberglass Studebaker truck fenders have arrived. They look nice and are fresh as a daisy. Thanks to Frank for the tips on where to get those.

Don't know that we'll see the Nomad again.

I'm in Iowa this week. Dad is hospitalized, 97 years old, and has far more health issues than the family has shared with me. Dad didn't want me to worry because I live so far away. He may make it out of the hospital, may make it out of physical rehab to live with my brother, unable to keep his own house for the first time. Still, it's looking far more likely he won't see his next birthday in January than his 100th which we once took almost as a given. It's been a hard week.
