I am surprised on very few comments of Jegs High Performance being sold.  I guess it is not uncommon in the industry in the last 10 years?

I did not know about this.  Wherever that was posted, I guess I missed it.  I never bought much from them but not because of any particular reason.  Most of the stuff I buy comes from Summit and Speedway because they have good service for me.  Jegs probably does just as good but I am creature of habit.

Who bought Jegs?

Wait for it:  An equity firm.  ;D ;D  Greenbriar Equity firm.  I had to search the internet to find the firm's name.. kinda a surprise to me, yet not uncommon in todays world I guess?

Did not hear about it until this post . I only bought from them once . It was a supply issue more than them but the product appeared a year after it was ordered . I wonder if Corporate will sponsor the racing as well as the Family run version did ?

I was a little surprised to read this also. I always wonder what the desire on both parties were for the transaction. The brother's are close to retirement age so I would think that had something to do with it. :)

I check out Jegs when I'm ordering parts but most come from Summit or Speedway. Occasionally Jegs has a better price or something that suits my needs better. I ordered a front bumper for my 69 C10 from them a few months ago. It was on sale for a good price but all the venders always have a oversize fee on them. I didn't see it listed so went ahead through the ordering process to see what would pop up. With the shipping prices being nuts lately I was really surprised that it showed only $11.00 shipping and no oversize fee. I went ahead and ordered it sure that the fee would show up sometime before it was shipped but it didn't. 2 days later the Fed Ex truck came up the drive with my bumper. I bought a cowl grommet for the radio antenna lead a while back from OPG. The shipping doubled the cost of the grommet that they mailed in an envelope and was only slightly lower than the bumper.  I guess I don't care who owns Jegs as long as they still do a good job.

I have bought items from Jegs over the years.  After Summit racing opened the warehouse in Nevada I use them more often.  Quicker delivery times usually.
