Fuel Prices in 2022:

I paid $4.68 Thursday, for 93 no eth.

Drove by the high priced Chevron station this sunday morning... $4.95-9 for regular.. diesel is $5.49-9

I was at the local hot rod breakfast Saturday morning with a bunch of guys about my age.   They were complaining about the price of fuel.  I told them to look at the bright side,  we all won't be buying that much more fuel. . They failed to see the humor.  An odd bunch for sure.

Diesel dropped to 4.99-9 a gallon at many stations.   Regular gasoline stays at 4.59-9  so far.

Altho diesel seems to remain around 5 dollars a gallon in my area.  Regular gasoline has increased  5 to 10 cents a gallon.

The high priced Chevron station has gone to 4.99-9 for regular .. At least thursday it was that price.

Not too much change in fuel prices today.  My comment is about the Gasbuddy phone app.

I use the Gasbuddy app to watch local prices a little bit.  Many ppl with RV use the app to find lower prices.  But I noticed some fuel prices were often changed to higher and incorrect price on Gasbuddy.

After a bit of research I learned people spam change prices. This gives them points on Gasbuddy app for discounts. Usual price change spammed is 20 cents, that does not cause the Gasbuddy app software to catch a large change on one price.

I took sunday off.  Did not work on anything.  I drive a bit in the area checking fuel prices on Gas Buddy app.  I now know of 3 user names that spam prices each day.  Usually 10 - 20 cents increase

People have told me I need a hobby in retirement.  Guess I found another hobby?

Thursday morning diesel fuel jumped up 20 cents a gallon at many stations in my area...  It is 5.19-9 a gallon now.  Regular grade gasoline was up 5 to 10 cents.  Running 4.59-9 to 4-69-9 a gallon now

It is like the fuel prices are frozen in time around here..  Very few changes. 

Costco & Sams club prices move a few pennies.  The closest clubs near us  each match their prices daily.

Paid 4.46 a gallon for diesel today at Sams Club... the close by Sams and Costco stores do not sell diesel. We drove several miles east for fuel and met my brother with his wife for lunch.

We are in Show Low AZ area.  Its northeast AZ. Diesel is 4.80 to 5.20 a gallon up here. Regular gas is 4.50 to 5 dollars a gallon.

$4.19 here in swanton today. I had some fuel points at Kroger, so got it for $4.09.

Bought diesel today in Show Low AZ...  the stations with 4.80 diesel have the yellow covers over the handles.  No fuel

Paid 4.90 a gallon since I did not have a discount card for the station I was at. Pump shut off at 150.00 , which was enough to dang near fill the tank

I topped off this morning for $3.69 at a Sunoco. Their sign says $3.79 but there's a note on the pump that if you go inside to pay you get another dime/gal off. I guess that's a deal. Sam's is $3.86.

Can't wait to get the van out of winter storage. It gets 13-17mpg.
