I am adding fiberglass to the back edge of my tilt front end so that I can fit the front end to the cowl with a nice gap.

Mmm, fiberglass yum.  :)

I am liking the ape hangers, CK.  8)  Thats how ya do a chopper.

Just put pads n rotors on back of the GT. Its had a pulsation from a porous rotor for all the 13 years and 75K miles but I got too tired of pussyfootin around on account of it. It was leaving a dex river in the fresh parking lot at work also. Replaced hose what looked to be the culprit and reduced it from river to pond. Pump nipple was very crusty but cleaned up and is dry now. Got the other hose too but whatever is leaking ain't obvious enough for this guy yet.

I went to the Artist at Large art show in Wichita yesterday. I put up a poor quality video of pics if anybody is curious. I went with a plan to support the artists' a little. I left all of my money with them. LOL.

All I get is error message on that^^^. But thats where I came from.

I am finally a hobbyist like the rest of the forum world, only not retired. Generation X just doesn't have that. Keeping the job as a totem pole foundation is how I roll and I'm looking into having a t removed from my name. But now each night when I get home I just slide the pan and or jack under my operational vehicle and open the radiator drain and or position stands. Have a bowl of cereal and get to work until bedtime. At four days and $250, no issues had been resolved. Fingers crossed today that round five will have dammed the coolant river onto boss's parking lot. Alternator, crank sensor, engine mount are all swimming in dexcool.

Thought I'd done ok on the 55 hood at 3.5 hours straightening. Started mudding, needed 3.5 more. Continue mudding, mud weighing down soft spot in metal so another 2-3 hours slapping as I go because every sandpaper stroke alters how the metal behaves when pressed down on like the customer did when he said can you fix this. New guy keeps saying I'm awful quiet, I say I have work to do. Boss asked last week how long and I said shouldn't run past Monday. Here it is Tuesday. I have glaze coat on it. Its the last panel not in poly primer. Hurrying. No  future projects have been mentioned. Finding the out door might be whats expected of me, don't know just reading sign.

I need to drop subframes of both my fwd junks in my podunk parking spot of a garage if I am to have continued transportation at all. Theres not a way, or a way to lift the powertrains instead. Having to ignore the root problems due to that.

Drawing a blank on Christmas gifts as well, we are all too old, have everything, need nothing and have given each other everything at least once. House is crammed with that stuff but I still don't believe in Santa Claus. A typical state of affairs. :)

Lot of neat stuff there. I could drop a few dollars there.

idrivejunk

I'll try that, KB.

The GT DD looks dry today. But no way to really check with the ground wet.

Never fails, I try to leave some unmudded zone on a panel so nobody will think I put bondo where not needed... then no, dents there too. Rest of the hood is ready for a final 180 buzz.

The FJ is something I did stuff on, fixing shoddy prior fixes. And mud. Thats a metallic color, but as blah as it gets but theres one thats shot.

And today may be my first day out of bandaid jail from the dog related spill I took.

I liked the fat old girls at the beginning and the audible art as well. What it looks like is if a guy is funny looking enough he can make visual art... stand next to it... and then people buy it? Interesting concept.  :)  Thanks for the peek, Bill.

I believe I have the answer. The video is marked adults only and the forum has a blocker. :)

Last time I uploaded a burnout vid youtube was all like:

HEY! IS THIS VIDEO FOR KIDS???!!

(sorry for shouting there)

and I was like um. Is it? Are there? What are the.... huh?

Axed my account. They made it suck.

55 hood is primed and I'm lapping up an ex employee's leavins on the 56 cab.

Feels like winning tonight on the 99 Pontiac restoration project. A couple hours each night while weather is warm. Fixin to get cold and (assuming my repairs are valid) I've addressed the pressing issues. Holds coolant, brakes only pulsate up front now and not as bad, and glory be my forward lighting is the best its been in that car. Used a cheapo HL resto kit on the take-out lights from the GTP (they hold still at least) and stuck those in with new low end bulbs. Rubbed up fog light lenses while I was at it then aimed the whole mess. Took it from the realm of outright dangerous to driveable.

Right on time as the solstice nears. I feel better now. If I could weld something it would help me sound less like Eeyore, which is normal in winter.  :)
