I am having trouble finding u joint specification.  I know it must be on the net somewhere but I must be easily frustrated today.

I am looking for a joint that is two sizes.  It has 1 1/8" cup diameter and 3 5/8" long on one side, and 1 1/16" cup diameter and 3 1/4" long on the other side.

I could use some help.

This any help? I only know what a hybrid u joint is because theres one on my GP. A truck shop built the driveshaft.

That was just a top search result via "spicer hybrid u joints".

Thanks, that is what I needed.    I think the one for me is 1310/1330.  I will verify that later.  I am swamped with grandchildren at the moment.

The one I listed I buy at Carquest and napa. I don't remember the part number. If I need to dig, I will.

Neapco 1-5349 is the number that crossed over.

I think that is the right size.  I have cross referenced it some and I have noted some slightly different decimal measurements but most agree with the fractional measurements. Thanks

Well so far it is the universal joint mystery from hell. 2 days of trips to and from the auto parts store and to the shop that has a method of pressing them in and out.  I will start fresh tomorrow.  I have had enough for today.

Better day today.  I called a tech at Moog and he and I went over the details.  He gave me his best guess and it was the right joint to use.  Driveshaft is in the car.  I need to finalize the pinion angle and then remove the assembly for final welding and painting.  I was able to change the rear axle and use the driveshaft from the last rear axle by changing the universal joint.  I never thought I would get that lucky to find a mismatch joint that work  :D

It is a 355 series. Apparently there is a standard 3 digit number that is used to identify u joints.  Part of my problem is that this joint is a external clip on one of the pairs and a internal C clip on the other pair.  I was measuring the overall length of each pair but you measure the C clip side to the outside of the clip groove and not the overall length.  That makes sense now but it was confusing me at first.
