I can't even spell artist but if you think about using canvas, there weren't many options when that became the common medium for use. There are so many different options now that finding what suits you should be much easier. :)

Ya, the shipping SNAFU problem is everywhere.  I just had another package on USPS go from Phoenix to Utah... then down to Knoxville  Tennessee ... It has finally arrived in Montana  where it is headed.

Worked in the shop before work this morning . Got all but the bolt circle done on the fan spacer this AM . A bit of a fluke but I didnt have to dial in my piece when I flipped it around in the chuck . My 3 jaw chuck held the piece with less than .001" runout . Thickness was varied by less than .002" . Pretty good for a 54 year old lathe with nothing but student use . My head bolts showed up today so will be putting the heads on soon . If pushrods show up tomorrow I may have it all assembled this weekend . 8)

Drilled my pulley spacer and made a fan pulley spacer too . Did not get my pushrods today so engine will have to wait.  :(

Hi Glen
This is Mike from Michigan. You probably don't remember me, we met a few times out in Phoenix back in the green Buick days.  Glad to see you on here again.

I'm surprised you remember your password. :D  It's been a while. I don't remember you being here since the Nova days. Have you been up to anything?

I finished the wiring part of my wheelchair Lift in the new van today. All works as advertised now. I cringed a bit tearing the trim off along the inside off the van to run the wiring harness from the "Up fitter Harness connector under the dash to the lift in the back of the van. Fortunately all went without a hitch and it's all back together. I am finally mobile again. This was week 3 since I got this new van so now I can go when and where I want.. Waahooo.. 8)

Next Tuesday I go back for shot Number 2 and Then another 3 week wait till I will be fully immunized..

Today is a red letter day. The snowblower is moved to the shed and the dr650 is back in the garage. We will have 60 more days of lackluster weather but I'm ready for the occasional nice day.

Daydreaming about different projects to undertake. I have put the F6 on hold for a while. I'm waiting to see how the godzilla engine comes to play. I don't have the resources to be at the head of the line. :)

I got to spend some time with my brother today.  It is the first time we have had together in nearly a year.  We drove west from me about 3 hours to R&J Enterprises Tom Bay at Arkansas City, Kansas.  It was hot rod fabricators overload.  My brother is building a 34 Ford and he bought a new floor for the car from Tom.  It was really nice stuff.    I had never met the man but he is very talented and it was a great time.  There was 32-34 Ford stuff everywhere.  Just a couple of photos of part of the shop.  I really enjoy looking at stuff that men make and this stuff was really something.
