Interesting.  I keep hearing that the aftermarket hot rod parts companies are doing a lot of business this year.  Sometimes I hear things though. :D

Ouch! All the cheap alum. units have put the hurt on the radiator market. I referred to them as an industry standard for older vehicles. Not cheap but real good.

Hm. Nothing on their website. Nothing on FB. Is this for real or bogus?

That's sad. I read LeBaron Bonney is shutting its doors, too.

wonder why Vern Jr didn't take it over

I guess there are 2 options. It wasn't his cup of tea, or don't beat a dead horse.
I'd bet on the 2nd. It's hard to compete with the import stuff. Imports may not be as good, but OH there so much cheaper. I've had a failure with a Walker radiator, but I've had a couple with the cheap aluminum ones.

All the local radiator shops are gone. They have become disposable.

I am wondering how this will affect the NSRA as Walker owns that also.

Along with the Bugg family...Gilbert's widow and his son Bubba, as far as I know.

It has been many years since I have attended a NSRA event so I may be way off base here;

I see the NSRA as their "cash cow". The owners have got to be making big profits from these events. The radiator business may not have generated enough profit to compete with the car show business.
