Charlie Daniels has died. Age 83

Reports are he had a stroke this monday morning and has died.  Amazing fellow and music  career.

I live in the same general area as Mr. Daniels and he has done a lot of good deeds for many people. A true gentleman & he never forgot where he came from.

Found the ticket stub. July 16, 1980. Kansas Coliseum. First concert I ever attended and they let me in with a two liter A&W in my hand. It was also the first time I smoked grass. Yep, the man held a place in my personal history in that way. Heckuva guy. RIP
