Crosley that seems to be the way news is delivered these days . The source is not verified/valued as much as need for a headline item is . it seems as though news can be delivered to suit another agenda at times . I am not a conspiracy guy but have to admit that there is some degree of manipulation as to how  "news" is delivered from time to time .

The Kansas website is updated on monday, wednesday and friday. Yesterday's total for new cases was a little over 1400. A few weeks ago it was almost 20,000. For whatever reason, omicron seems to be zooming through. I'm looking forward to as normal a summer as we can have. :)

Chatted with a neighbor lady tuesday.  She told me she was in the hospital in mid 2020 with the virus and mild pneumonia. 1 week in there she said , age 76 then.  She attended a funeral yesterday and she was the only person wearing a mask.  I did not ask what the deceased person died of.

Dad just turned 95. Recently he gave me the names of about 5 people he knew who died from it in a county of 14,500 population.

My wife and I had covid back in November, and we still have after-effects which get slightly better each day.   .....Gait & balance issues, memory impairment (all neurological) and joint pains are what we are still experiencing, while fatigue has greatly diminished.   ....Talked with my doctor and he said that is very common after a bout with covid.

We have talked with 6 other people who have had covid and they also experience memory impairment.

My close friends that had the virus a while back in december 2021. They are doing fine from the virus.

The gal in january developed a digestive problem. Cramping , diarrhea that was near constant, headaches, tired... Worried about virus related problems:   Various Tests were run, negative results.  So a colon inspection was ordered, biopsy,  also an endoscopy of the small intestine & stomach too.

Turns out she has colitis problem in her colon. She had changed her diet to more "healthy" foods as she puts it. Lots of grains, veggies, ruffage.  Her colon did not like it.  Her doctor told her she needed a more balanced diet, too much ruffage was likely her problem. She is now on a balanced , yet bland diet to allow the colon to calm down and heal up.  She is doing better.

I asked her husband if she was trying to be more healthy and caused this problem? He said "yep"

I mentioned about a month ago that I had corvid. I followed Dr's orders and felt better in about a week, but only to a point. I had a bad cough, and constant Sinus draining. You might have noticed I was pretty much missing for the last couple weeks.

So yesterday my wife finally convinced me to go to the Doctor. Who immediately sent me to the hospital for a lung Xray, blood test, and EKG. I got home from the hospital to a call to go to the Emergency room for a CT scan of my chest, and more heart tests.

The results, I have corvid induced pneumonia, and a sinus infection. No heart problems, no COPD problems, and somewhere along the line I broke a rib and didn't know it. Five medicines and I feel better today. Yeah me!!!

Stay on the road to recovery, Frank.  Sometimes you just have to slow down and heal.
