Surely, like anything else, any new idea is at best an assemblage of accumulated subconscious tidbits. It helps that I don't go to shows. Maybe. Dig the hood latch panel and hood nose mods/merge. With custom molding. Hot off the weary press. Heres my version A of F1 tails in conjunction with a bumper. And a new shot at parking lights.      :?

Yes to brushed stainless . How would you do the bumpers though? It would give it just a touch of refined difference from the others. I really like the white as it does not overpower all the subtle differences with a blast of distracting colour. I would think silver would be another colour choice , again as it would not take the eye away from what body mods have been done . This truck is a RARE case where metalflake would be a distraction

I know thats heavy if flake runs and hides. But now pearl, thats another matter entire. Any squirt job not using mica is just passing up a good chance!


Frank, I was gonna say you must have been at a hospital recently. and those bypasses are serious but in my experience with folks they are wonderful for a patient's life quality after healing. I hope it is and stays smooth sailing on her recovery.

You guys are right, it would be classy. It may be possible to wrap the 'ettes in SS for all I know. But that finish with the type of colors shown would sure give a refined look to it. However the front is already reality in plain mild.

Something spiked my temper after work so my wit is dry at the moment. Shushing now.

Pearl is often a very understated look ....especially in white . Candy can be a bit too showy but great for a car with few mods and perfect body panels. Metalflake is the circus come to town!  I really like pearl or candy on something like a 54 chevy as there is not a flat panel anywhere on the car . Sorry ,,, starting to drift off topic  :oops:

Ha. Those were totally imaginary conjurations but see there how the subconscious rodding file system of the mind works?

This is the shape he sent that I can't stand, looks too walmarty to my eye. He also sent some rectangulars and some lady fun part shaped ones. All baggers. I wish we had a pair of stockers, bet I could sell that idea. But I figure if the rear lighting is this much hassle to pick, we better get started picking fronts too.

Finished a painting of my brothers '67 Mustang he had back in the early '70's when he was in the Air Force. He doesn't know about it, it will show up in Alabama soon! 😄
