I finished building a T5 today, and tore down another one. Then I finally got the engine out of a 2006 Subaru. I have been working on it off and on all week. It was ready to come out last sunday, but the block was stuck to the transmission. I got a couple thin putty knives in it monday, lots of PB blaster, tuesday I got a couple thicker scrapers, more room to get PB blaster in the slot. A little more each day until it finally came loose today. This car is a wreck, the engine is going into another car. I still have some more parts to take off before it goes to scrap.

The wedding was a great time . Done in front of their 100 yr old barn at the acreage . My daughters 3 horses hitched to their post on one side and hubby's modified dirt car on the other side . All her dogs walked down the aisle with the wedding party ,sat with the groomsmen and were perfectly behaved all through the service . These two are quite a pair , quads ,dirtbikes ,stock cars, fishing , shooting all common interests . Grooms father described my girl as "a Keith (husband)with indoor plumbing".

I am taking the day off today.  A paid holiday. (Everyday is a paid holiday these days). 50 years I have lived with this woman as of today.   We are going for a drive and a picnic.  I spare no expense. :D

Congratulations To you John and Frank. Linda and I will be married 53 years in October. Now a days people get married with the idea that they could always get out of it and they celebrate after 5 years like they have accomplished something. I think it's great that she has put up with me (and kept me alive) for soooo long. GPster

Congratulation to all the Long haulers. My wife and I are only on 27 years but we have so many things we both enjoy. Hope to join the 50 year club in the future.
