I must have thought Matt was having too much fun at work so I thought I might share some. This is in my yard:

Same here: Congratulations C.K.

No ramp truck...  OK.  On with the prep for gold metal flake on the roof.  At least.

Quote from: "phat46"Finshed this painting today, just for fun, not a commission, although I would sell it. 16" X 24", acrylic on hardboard.

Another very nice one  8)

In my most accusatory, startling tone and with furrowed brow:

WHAT DID YOU DO?

 Big grin  :D  You rascal.

I couldn't believe you'd held still as long as you have. But figured you was plotting something.

Any action on who gets first rubber? I have a head start but we are both us, soooo.... :?:

(congrats, thats an F-what?)

F6. This appears to be a deluxe cab, though. It has a locking glove box, 2 exterior door locks and different door panels. The cutout for the radio looks original.

This is the same car I posted a few days ago in first ride condition. This is what I envision the owner ended up doing, in 1953.

Wow, thats slick! Dad used Standard Oil red on his back then. Grandpa had the gas station and paint.

CK, I failed to say congrats on your anni. So congrats on that. Grape and I had our 21st anni on the 20th. And I put a sketch just for you on the F1 thread, be sure to take a peek. Something that would look right at home in flake. :)

That F6 cab looks nice. If course theres a poked stretched spot on the back panel. No barfbag required though, nice hunting. It has the giant wheel openings but... some folks might be real intrigued by that fairly optimal patina.

Oh, I've gone and done it now. Uh-oh! Said that word! Ducking and covering. :)  Only put in about an hour and a quarter at work today. Very not worth the drive.

Happy end of 2020 to all of you and your kin and may the road ahead be a little smoother.

Phat46, that's real good. :) Matt, no patina in my world. Probably no flake , either. :)

Today on january 1  2021  likely I will sort a bit more stuff out in my shop for moving or add stuff to the "for sale" pile.  Seems like it never ends?

I have all my wall hanging stuff , signs , what nots  taken down off the walls. Sorry to say it , but retirement seems like a pain.  I do not like change , especially big change.

I love it but I wonder if they had "peep" mirrors back then....don't remember seeing them until sometime in the 70's. The had door edge mount mirrors but they were meant to mount on the vertical edge. Some one will clear this up and prove me wrong ...by the wonders of the web....probably Tony.
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail...but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying. "Wow...that was fun!"

Poster geezer for retirement....

A Hooligan!

The reference photo had that mirror in it and I thought the same thing, then I thought, "naw, nobody will ever notice that" 😃😄👍
