RRT forum: Slow down?

I have been having problems with sloooow page loading here since sunday..

Other places on the interweb I visit are functioning at normal pace.

I experienced some of that slow but it seems temporary. What concerns me is random but always poorly timed "post mode" error messages. Monday, again, I lost a large and nearly complete post. In my own best interest, I changed my default response to abandon rather than re-try. You guys have missed some of my "content" on several occasions due to this. I don't allow myself to make forum complaints though because I browse ad-free and figure its my fault, by default.

It failed to load a couple times yesterday, but today it loaded quickly. 🤔

Okay gents, here is the skinny. I have not been able to log in for near two days. The problem was finally figured out tonight, we were under attack by spammer botts. Fatcat locked them out, but we found some more just a few minutes ago. He is still working on it, but at this point it seems to be working fine. We will keep you abreast of the situation. If you still have trouble logging in, or posting, let me know and we will try to get you back up and running.

I have been having problems here again... Slow page loading at times.  Sunday morning here. 7 am AZ time.. very slooow loading.  Other pages I am checking this morning seem fine.

I've been under the weather a bit , so I have not visited as often recently.
