What gear lube?

Any one have any recommendations for the correct gear oil to put in a rebuilt S-10 Blazer rearend with the gov-lock  setup?  Any in put would be appreciated.  Thanks.
I am CDO, kinda like OCD, but in alphabetical order, like it should be!

Seems to me that you use the regular 80/90 gear lube, but there is a modifier that is sold at GM dealers for the posi gears Now this is a few years ago, so things may be different now.
If a blind person wears sunglasses, why doesn\'t a deaf person wear earmuffs??

the gov lock unit does not use frictions like a posi type differential.  Regular gear lube should work well.  Dyno oil or syn oil

 One of my 4x4's..gov lock on back..regular on front. I was just going to stuff syn in it..RTFM :lol: Rear calls for syn..says NOT to use syn in the front as it will attack the plastic collar on the seal and cause it to leak.
