We will just have to rely on the hobby builders here to provide a replacement twice-daily stream of their current project pics and info to compensate for the loss of content for our beloved forum.

Sounds ridiculous, don't it? Did to me, too.

The fact is I could probably post "money shots" only. But that would be disapponting to me, and I am no judge of what is or isn't money.

Far as I know, this car is still out for tuning.

Got it back. Painter was addressing blemishes last week with a stick or two of trim off it. Must be getting close. I just work there. :)

"Tuning" did not go as expected, theres no dyno sheet but the fuel pump seems to work. So I heard.

I know it's not your call but I'd think additional exposure for these sorts of cars would be a good thing. Especially with nearly all the magazines gone.

Oh... its all drama until done, then its like the drama never was. One thing I have noticed is the print mags that are left are super nice quality. I mean the production of the magazine. Kind of like how in the final years, all Rivieras got superchargers not just some. I would wager that the Cat will one day be featured somewhere. If the Lord is willin and the creek don't rise.

That's a magazine-worthy build for certain.

That car is definitely magazine worthy . 8)

At the moment I'd rather they left my name out of it. Feeling disgusted and ashamed to be a part of this crew right now. :(

The drama this week was record-breaking. I got yelled at and car got messed with. Those are both "stepping over the line" by me so it was a mental dodgeball match from stem to stern. Pulled through it with enough holiday spirit to mind-bleach with a Cat shot regardless of consequences.

Sure is fine  8)

All those different curves and contours coming together, playing off each other in a multitude of ways. I don't know which is more impressive, that it's all so perfected or that they even attempted it in 1959.

Definitely art right there ! 8)

Yes I, for one, would find being a time traveling fly on the wall during the design of that area in the pic... highly intriguing. :)

Noticed the hood ornament today and thought now thats sexy. Shiny black bezel, iridescent ( reflective ? ) shimmery stock looking pearl colored center. Big long swoopy arrowhead sliding off the front, all stock. Made her look kinda finished. :)
