I'd like to sit in the front seats. The shape looks like something I could spend 14 hours in and still be smiling. That's been quite a project for us to follow along. Pontiacs aren't as easy as some of the others. Plus, that's a big car. Lots of sheet metal to work with. I'd have to have a map to get from one end to the other. :)

Stunning! And to remember what it looked like when it came in. What an amazing transformation!

This here object is the makings of a stunning engine cover-

What is the green material on the foam base?

Unsure. Looks a bit runny for bondo. I suspect it is a mold-to-be or maybe just a buck to fine tune clearance with. :?

It is supposed to be a single-use mold. I offered what guidance I could to the guy tasked with it. Our best guess is the first layer was a mud and resin cocktail. The guy who roughed it in doesn't really acknowledge questions. :)

I'd have tried out the seat but was covered in a mysterious white powder. ;)

This fine old Pontiac, like mine, flies in the face of all who believe nothing screams lame-suck like a column shift. :)

Thread fluff from the back shop below, a new insurance replacement Camaro (Dynacorn body) and a low gloss square Bronco-

Is the bronco supposed to be flat white?

Makes more sense with some accent color present.

How about some Cat news? :-o

I see both bumpers on the car and headlight bezels in the paint shop.

Thats lookin right smart, all gleamy chromey now and getting "bump" in the trunk.

I see real progress there. :D  8)

This was a great build to follow. It didn't look that bad until you started digging. :) High end builds are a PITA but it sure is nice to see the finished project. Do you have any idea if the cat will be a driver or a queen?
