Did I read earlier that the exhaust is solid mounted? I assume you can do that with the flex connectors to the headers?

Could be.

I was just the rust guy but my understanding (assumption) is that between the cylinder head and the flange at the frame pass-through behind the rear wheels, there is no support. Not unlike cars with no hangers before the axle, but in a much more confined space. I can certainly look at and / or ask about it if you are considering a similar challenge. Today I stuck my head down there to see how much crank pulley to steering rack clearance is present. It isn't much but I'd bet one of the polyurethane blocks on the engine mounts would have to completely crumble and fall away before any interference could occur. And that is with very minimal air cleaner to hood clearance also. It is possible that our man plans to have an exhaust mount where the H pipe is. The crossover seen at the back of the transmission is a placeholder for a piece yet to be designed. Reluctantly, I might add. Mike would rather not have an H pipe in this case. Thats the impression I got when I asked about that part. I will try to show whatever he ends up with.

I think I would be ceramic coating the exhaust to bring the outside pipe temperatures down if it was mine. Maybe that's the plan, huh?

The exhaust is to be ceramic coated.

Mike installed the 4x4 lift kit today.

He is just sizing things up, readying for the approach... y'know.

I believe a man may have to take a knee to glimpse a lugnut back here, all said and done.

I also believe that is going to be one striking automobile. My goodness!  :-o

The axle housing and everything suspension, and the frame... are just one dark grey metallic color. Base / clear, nothing special. Its just the reflections. Hazy day outside. 8)
