Old sign ? no fenders and a boss in a previous life ? Car looks awesome ! last question for the ford experts . I thought the 33 ford had ONE hood latch per side and the 34 had TWO

It's not important but that isn't a boss 302 engine.

I don't know for sure about 33's but 34's do have 2 latches.

it has 33 doors , the 34 doors have a small panel at the trailing edge of the door glass . If i remember right that is so the window can move back first before down to make a window vent at the front kind of like the old vw bugs had . there is also something about the hood louvers that is different . the 33s were curved and the 34s were not , i think ?

You guys are correct about the hood sides. '33 Fords had one handle to open the hood while '34's had two. I don't think there was any noticeable difference with the louvers in my friend's '33. The grill of a '33 has a slight curve in while the '34 is straight. This one appears to have a '33 grill. Nice car! It would look good sitting in my driveway!

Thanks, rumm. I feel the same way but I'd give it the indoor parking spot.

At the beginning of the job, I asked why it was a 33. I was told the grille. Same with the A but they said its a 30 and it has a 31 grille.

They are probably all a hodge podge. I was born alongside the QuadraJet. Don't think this one has been messed with much though-

33 rad shell has a round crank hole the 34 has a sort of coat of arms shaped opening as well as being a thicker rad shell . I think I heard somewhere that the late 33s may have had 2 handles on the hood sides .
