O2 sensor and a plugged cat

Had a cat plug up on a car tonight to where the motor would idle only so could it damage the O2 sensor,it might have run only 5 minutes after I notice the lack of power.

I had one do that. This was an OBD1 Cavalier, had to cut a hole in the down pipe ahead of the cat to limp it home.

here's afew things that will kill a cat.

misfires
O2 sensor stuck lean
too high fuel pressure
leaky injector (s)

It is the two small cats in the Y pipe,now soaking the manifold bolts and going to gut them and then figure out why they are getting plugged.
