Death in the family

My father passed away today. He has been in Hospice for the last two weeks. He never really recovered from the surgery he had in November, and then his kidneys failing. It was not the way he wanted to go, but at least his struggles are over.

Life goes on.

Lost my dad at age 94 almost 3 years ago . Although expected as inevitable at some stage as the years roll on, it is still hard to take.
