Local Gasoline Prices - 2016

Well, that didn't last very long; back up to $2.15 to $2.20 at two independents I noted today, certainly higher at the big name oil companies.

paid 1.34 a gallon at a Circle K store. No coupons or points


Should I drive my truck,  Use more gasoline to save more?

We jumped yesterday to $2.09/ gal. First we have been above two dollars since last Nov. I think our cheap gas days are coming to an end. BTW, I took my wife to a Drs. appnt near Detroit today and gas was 20 cents cheaper out of our county.

1.76 a gallon for regular  near us ... Down town Phx; the 1.60 stations are now 1.70 on thursday.  Mayb higher now.

I paid $2.60 at an ARCO station in Foothill Ranch in Orange County, California on Saturday; ARCO is usually on the low end of the spectrum, and I didn't pay any attention to other station's prices.  It's up to around $2.30 here in lLas Vegas.

Low to mid 1.80's around me now.  Odd how the prices jump up faster than down.

Jumped from $1.89 to $!.94 yesterday morning.  I agree on the speed of the increases.

$2.17 at a local independent to $2.62 at Shell in my wanders about the town today.

local to me jumped to 2.00 a gallon yesterday.  Diesel is at 1.86

In metro Phx area, I see 2.10  to 2.18 a gallon

In town of the Phx area, I see 2.18 to 2.22  a gallon

Just a heads up.  Be prepared for a increase in Gas prices.  This will affect all of North America, not just Canada.

North American production of crude has just been cut back by at least a million barrels a day with the shut down of the facilities at Fort McMurray because of the wild fires in the region.

The town has been evacuated resulting in over 80,000 people being displaced.  Over 1600 homes have been destroyed.  The fire is covering over 500,000 acres.

$2.40 before the "points" discount at Kroger-Smith's the other day.

gasoline prices have dropped here. A few pennies.  down to 2.00 a gallon local to me.

I'd look for a spike in prices as Labor day weekend thing,  gets closer

Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, today's price is 99.9 (Cdn) per litre.

That works out to $ 2.84 (US) per gallon (US).
