What a great ride he had. I can't think of anyone more influential in automotive terms, to guys my age, because of all the TV cars.

He was at our local car show this year . Many high profile builds to his name . I remember how he looked when the batmobile sold for 4million at barret Jackson . The money was probably nice but the validation was just as important .

I read about his death on a news feed at lunch.  

it is interesting George is sooo remembered for the Batmobile , but he built , created so much more.

There are several more  car crafting legends that are getting up in the years
