From the broadcast booth Baker liked to say something no one else mentions, but I'll always remember. At the Cup level everyone has already been a champion somewhere. He didn't have a lot of time for those who wanted to belittle the drivers who were struggling. While sports is always about proving yourself against everyone else on your level, those on the highest levels are so much better than those on the lower rungs it's hard to get it across to the spectators.
