Brake noise on my strret car

I just put new rotors and pads on the Wife's Pontiac and now there is a LOW moan when going about 40 MPH and braking.  Can't figure this one and it's mostly on the Driver's side.  it IS front wheel drive.  Took it back apart and see nothing.??

Take a Scotchbrite pad to both sides of the rotor and see if that stops it. Some new rotors have a rough finish and cause the pads to push put like they were threaded and makes a strange noise.

Did you clean the hub good where the rotor sets? This can cause a vibration too.
