89 Mustang 5.0 no spark

Mac ... What was the final fix on this no spark problem ???

Bob, if I had a conclusion to this saga I'd post it but it seems the lad hasn't found the time to carry through on all of the great suggestions yet.

He understood at the outset he would have to chart his own course through an EFI swap and did manage to have it on the road for while. Short of posting questions to you good folks and some light web searching for him, he's done pretty much the whole thing. Sort of a tough love thing you could say.

I can't help a lot lately anyway, what with liquidating a 23 yr. old business, selling the commercial building, sprucing up the house for sale and fixin to move to North Carolina before the next Pennsylvania winter event.

Last report he's going for a PIP sensor but pulling the dist drive gear to change it has him worried. He does a lot of youtube education.

Thanks for the continued interest. I'll report any outcomes.

This just in tonight:

The Ranger 5.0 rides again. A new PIP done the trick.

Now on to some tuning starting with a fresh set on the base timing and a couple of new O2's.
