I'm planning on putting a firewall mounted brake m/c-booster in the wife's '39 Chevy sedan.    Any suggestions as to what fits and still leaves room to remove the valve cover without removing the brake setup?     Running a small block Chevy.

Hydroboost works well and saves space under the hood.

On the ford I used one off a bronco ll or ranger, it mounted to the lip on the dash board and the firewall is flat. It worked out real nice.
The power booster is only around 8"
Any ford ,master will bolt to it,so you can get the bore size you need

you could just use a MC without a booster. a lot less space taken up

I have used a F100 pedal, with a Mustang 8" booster and master cylinder, it sets the booster up higher on the firewall than most cars.

I was thinking about the S-10 setup and probably will go that route.    Thanks for the input. Appreciate it.
