Wood stove

While cleaning out the building we are remodeling, I found a hot water tank for a wood stove. I need help identifying the manufacturer. There is an oval  medallion on it with what appears to be either M E or E M as a logo. Any one with a clue?

That old logo looks like M & E or E & M.
