Connector disassemble method?

See photos..  Wire pulled out of this connector. It is a weather pack type with little silicone seal on male end that plugs into this one.

I have tried to release the pin with various hand made tools pushed down into the slot openings and nothing releases the pin.  I tried in the slot opening, next to the pin, from the end where the wire is crimped on , nothing seems to release the pin from the housing

Perhaps a ''one time use'' connector?

The pin removal tool works from the other end, looks like a screwdriver handle with a thin wall tube that  fits over the outside of the female pin. Here is the part number for one version  SPX Kent Moore J-38125-10A  You push the tube over the pin, and it all comes out this end.

frank is right on how to release it..

it looks like  a 280 series.. but i could not see that exact shape.. but i could be wrong..


there are a few catalogs that should be in ever rodders computer...


this is 404 pages.. and covers a Significant amount of delphi connectors..but not all
