57 chevy glass install

Hello;
I'll ask here as I always seem to get great answers. My 57 is at the paint shop and the front and rear glass is supposed to be removed and re-installed. The Shop says that the glass person expressed concern about putting the glass back in with the trim (stainless) installed!
Anyone here have any experiences or shortcuts? I did find out that the glass has to be perfectly centered or it won't fit right.
Also, I did purchase the new gaskets (front and rear) to make sure that everything goes right.
You know, it's getting harder and harder to find auto glass companies that have this kind of knowledge!

On the windshield the top pc of trim has to be installed in the gasket before the windshield is installed. The remaining pcs. are installed later. I do not know about the rear glass, my car is a station wagon. Lots of good info can be had at www.trifive.com.
