I took a load of shred in today, the lowest grade of scrap iron. They paid $240 a ton for it. I have another load for tomorrow, plus some brass and aluminum.
Welcome to hell. Here's your accordion.

wow... i was at the screw yard last friday

there was some really nice stuff rolling across the scales..

one truck with probably 30, 4' roll up doors from storage units..

another truck with 6 or 8 steel carts.. with the strongest casters i have seen ever.. make the ones on the bottom of the 4 yard trash dumpster look like shopping cart wheels.. i was absolutely drooling..

a truck load of complete engines..  everything still on them..  must have come from some chop shop...   there are over 50,000 cars a year stolen just in los angeles county.. only 42% recovery rate..

A freind works in a junkyard and they are cutting up these. Most of them run.
