At the host hotel thursday night:

It rained.  Sorry to break the news, but there is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, just a rat rod with an outhouse on the back of it.

Friday:

A little past the HAMB cut-off but kinda neat.

A street rodded 55 that would make an awesome daily driver for a lottery winner.

I'll let the pics say it all.

Not my favorite truck, but I liked the louver variety

I bet this thing handles like a go kart

the blistered paint from the front tires rubbing is cool.

Same deuces that were at the hotel

I bought one of the new t-shirts also

Then it rained.....again.

We got there early on Saturday to get a good spot.  Turns out that wasn't going to be an issue.  A nasty line of thunderstorms blew thru.  It rained sideways for about 15 minutes and then it rained normal for about the next 5 hours.

This guy showed up for just Saturday, sat in the rain all day, and then left 15 minutes before it quit raining :)

Eventually, the rain passed and they did the Cacklefest.

Did y'all know Josh Shaw has hair now?

The last pic is of my daughter who managed to suffer through the crappy weather and keep me entertained.

Thanks for the pictures.  I really like the Bronco.  My friend used to own Chrisman's Comet.  The 66, it had a 427 wedge with injection and a clutch flyte at the time.  He had no idea what he got rid of when he sold it.  He has the original Hot Rod magazine with the ad to sell it when Chrisman sold it.

Great job with the camera. I was there last year and had a great time. Last year the cackle fest was at night. Thanks for posting. Joe

I see some familiar cars there. Quite a few in fact. Nice pictures too.
