I am all signed up & ready to go ...( Pre-entered last year!) Motel reservations made ...Our favorite run of the year ...All we gotta do is drive .....

THEN ....My runny nose kid's boss , ( The USAF), decides that weekend is PERFECT for his PCS to his next duty station....

Being the good Dad that I am , I will go to Florida & help the little twirp move ...... :evil: AND ...I dont even get to see the grandkids.... :cry:

Trust me ...I WILL be thinkin' about you guys ......

Have fun & have a banana / strawberry smoothie for me :!:

We Plan on going. Be there f-Sunday. Have the interior 98% complete. Trunk will be a winter project.

I plan on being there unless the water keeps rising!The Missouri river seems to have leveled off.....the flooding has caused lots of devastation in our area but has not affected our home yet. I have 2 families entire house/garage contents in my shop so things are pretty tight... I'm still plugging away on the 37 in my house garage... but... no way I'll have it ready for Des Moines so I don't know what I'll be driving. Even if things aren't so good,I may try and slip down for the day on Saturday.Anybody up for lunch on Saturday?

Well......I had some things come up and it's looking doubtful that I'll make it to Des Moines......Still a slight chance that I'll make it for the day on Saturday......If I do I'll see you guys at noon sharp.This show is a regular on my Summer schedule and I sure hate to miss it......This flooding mess is getting old!!

Bob and I met earlier at Yogi's booth on Friday, but the lunch did not materialize on Saturday. It was a good show--would have been better if I had not had to replace my fuel pump. But other than that, it was a typical, hotter than blazes, GG show. I found the Marguerita tent a good place to sit down, relax, and watch the cars cruise by. I highly recommend it! lol!
