Local gasoline prices

Filled my 40 Ford up with regular 87 for $45.09 at 3.639

We put 10 gallons in the Olds last night at $47.00  We joked that when we built this car , we could not have put $47.00 worth of gas into it if we filled the back seat  :!:  

Our dailey newspaper had an article today on " What goes into a gallon of gasoline " .... They priced it at $4.33 a gallon...
 All shown in "cents"...

  A total of 67 cents a gallon for taxes alone....  

  Strange that of the three major refineries in the south Chicago area ,
( Including the biggest one in the Midwest ), only one is operating at full capacity ...  :?  ( And it ain't the big one ) ......

If fuel goes up any further , we may not be going to many of the shows that we do now ... The money is just not there for it ....

The stations here dropped to $4.06 at the south end of town, at the north end, where the mall is and all the  Canadians head it's still at $4.29. The state Attorney General is investigating charges of price gouging here in Michigan, hopefully they bust a few of these crooks.

Yes and how many times in the past have we heard that song and dance? I paid $3.4? something in Helena Mt yesterday. I was in the middle of nowhere western N.D. far from the interstate Wed and saw some little 2 pump station in a 1/2 horse blot in the road with gas around $3.55

Yes and how many times in the past have we heard that song and dance? I paid $3.4? something in Helena Mt yesterday. I was in the middle of nowhere western N.D. far from the interstate Wed and saw some little 2 pump station in a 1/2 horse blot in the road with gas around $3.55

Yeah it seems like maybe a couple stations on the past got in any trouble for gouging, should be many more or even the distributors. I guess the "crisis" is over, gas is $3.57 at SAMs today....

  Thie crisis must not be over by us yet .... I filled up at our Sams this AM at $4.059.........

This is still five to ten cents cheaper than the regular stations..... :evil:

$3.55 here in Sin City yesterday, about average for anywhere around the valley.

$3.43.9 today at local frys with fuel points paid $3.23.9.

Went to local costco it's still at $3.35.9

Local stations at $3.98; Peoria $4.05; one station near Peoria this past weekend was $3.78.  That's the lowest price here.

After the huge spike a few weeks ago we dropped back to $3.16 then the day before Canada Day and a couple days before Independance Day it jumps 42 cents over night to $3.58......
