Gas jumped last week to around $4.15 from $3.89, then dropped back a couple days later. The news said it was due to an " undisclosed problem" at the refineries affecting only the Great Lakes states. Then it jumped to $4.26 a gallon but we haven't heard the b.s. as to why yet....... :?

The news on a Peoria tv station last night said that the price of gas for unleaded regular in Peoria hit $4.25/gallon, the highest ever for Peoria.  The reason was that a refinery in Joliet, IL. had closed down (didn't state the reason), and the prices went up.  But, later that day, the station whose picture was on the news, lowered the price back to $4.09.

$4.29/9 here yesterday. Up 48 cents since Saturday last.

It went from 3.48 to $3.99 overnight thursday. I did find one station in Wauseon for $3.88 yesterday, so I bought gas there.

Last week I thought of gassing up the dually in preparation for the trip west and didn't. Wishful thinking was that the price would go down.  I sure wish now I had.

We seem to be holding at $3.99 here.  A couple weeks ago, I paid $4.45 / gallon for 90+ octane non ethanol for the lawn equipment; wonder what it is now?
