Local gasoline prices

I was filling my car yesterday at $3.53 and watched two stations right next to the one I was at change their prices to $3.79.  

It amazes me that somehow I felt like $3.53 was a deal.  I think I've become indoctrinated...sort of like the frog in a pan of cold water who boils to death because he doesn't notice the gradual temperature change when heat is applied. :?

paid 3.43 a gallon this evening...  over 70 dollars to fill the truck tank.  thankfully I only have to fill it once a week.

 At $1.30L it is $200 to fill my van(1 ton Ext.) but it goes 1100km/tank
 My Burb is probably the same..$50 1/4 tank,$100 1/2 tank,$125 1/2 tank plus an 1/8. Haven't run that any lower..van goes 7km/l Burb goes 6-7 1/2 depending on temp.

The station by my office  was going up 0.10 to 0.15 per gallon per day for about a week ... He held at $3.999 for about a week ... Yesterday AM was at $3.999.. On the way home  was $4.159    :evil:

 Local to me is about $3.859..........

Maybe it will go down when the snow melts on the east coast ...

 ( Wasn't that the reason it went up so much  :?: ) ..

Right now I'd jump for joy at $3.56. Yesterday I did good finding it at $3.80 everywhere else I saw $3.95. Just as recently as the 26th of Jan I only paid $3.06 in Ind.

Paid 3.60 a gallon this evening.  

Right now I average 285 - 300 dollars a month driving my truck to work since the Goldwing was totaled.

its only been 6 weeks since the crash,  not a long time to average out the fuel costs..  truck computer indicates 17.4 - 17.5 mpg
