our very own Glen  was filmed for Pass Time show at the Vegas Strip.

this  show is where guests make a  guess the ET of the car.

His A sedan sounds darn good

That looks like a fun ride!  Mean looking car, too.

VERY nice car and a nice set of videos.  I especially liked the one shot from the inside of the car at Mokan.  The little 7K rpm blurp on the dyno was cool too.  Looks like lots of fun.

I've always been impressed with Glen's cars and bikes.  He certainly isn't one to do a half assed job.

Nice, any idea when it'll air? That's a fun show to watch and that A will be killer to see.

The show should air in late January or early February.  I will post on here when I have an exact date.
Thanks for the kind words.  I am not a drag racer or a performance guy.    This car has put a new challenge into the mix.
I have made some mistakes but learned from them and corrected them.

The filming was very cool, the NHRA was there that weekend so when we arrived on Tuesday they were still there testing and tuning.  I thought it would be the perfect track to pull off a 9.99, but I was quickly educated that the car would run slower in Vegas vs. Phoenix due to the altitude.  It still ran a 10.18 with a 1.37 60 ft.  The new motor has thrown my suspension all out of whack and I have not found the right settings yet as you can see it bucks pretty bad off the line.

3-4 weeks ago it ran a 10.03 at 132mph on a 99 degree day.

Still, not speeds and ET's to sneeze at. When you get the rear sorted out those 60 foot times oughta fall a bit and yer 9.99 will drop in yer lap. Nice work Glen.

I think Glen would like the car to run a 9 second time, once.

the problem is with a 9.99 time slip , there comes many additional safety items that are required on most sanctioned tracks.

what's lacking?

Roll bar ,  gas tank location may be wrong,  engine needs a diaper to contain oil if a failure occurs.

there may be more, Glen mentioned a few things he was told and I forget them

Yes, my roll cage does not follow the rules of the NHRA.  I never intended to run this fast so I just made the car safe and didnt pay attention to the technicalities.  I have all of the SFI stuff, diaper, balancer, etc.

besides the chassis certification, I also need to run X amount of passes in one day with another license holder signing off on that.....I havent even hit it once.

The game plan is to put the 505 CI motor in a 62-64 Nova, and then put my 396 back in the Model A.

Congratulations Glenn...

I wish I could've run you at Mokan but I stopped the "Rocket Sled" project after I realised that I would need a completely different chassis that would pass NHRA Rules.

The next car will be a test bed for my Olds engines and I hope that I can get that good of performance out of my car as you have!
