Alternator fan

Any one know a source for reverse rotation alternator fans for a Delco alternator?

Looking at a typical alternator fan, it looks like they would pump even more air in reverse.

Maybe not, never really thought about it before, but standard alt fans look like they may pull the air in from the rear and pump it out the front.

Thinking is, a std alt fan creates a low pressure area in the front of the alt.


I think I need some more coffee....
