what size tire, in a 1000 lb car the busa is only going to push to about 124 mph, there just is not enuff torque..........

We probably shouldn't tell that to Rick as he has the world's fastest 4 cylinder car with a 348 mph record and a 360 mph exit speed at Bonneville in 2006.  That car is over 1000 lbs and is busa powered.  

......I think in the 750 you need to gear lower to get the car rolling and still hit top gear, with the weight of your car im guessing you will never get it over 130 tops................

 

And this car holds the 750 record that I'm going after and they weigh about 1600 lbs.  Forget about weight at b'ville, in fact you need it.  It is all about aero there as that is where your HP is going:

I have primary sprockets from 12 teeth to 19 teeth.  To figure the rpm drop between gear changes and to figure top end gear ratios I made some spreadsheets here:

They cover 3 to 6 speed car transmissions and 4 to 6 speed bike transmissions.

I have driven one of those when I lived in Japan in the 60s. I also drove the Suzuki and Mitsubishi versions of the same type of truck. they were very practical in town.

They still build similar vehicles today, and they are inported, used, for use on farms and ranches, and in large factories. they are not legal for street use here.

One of the car dealers here imported a shipping crate of them and is selling them like crazy.  Montana seems to allow them on the streets, adn you ought to see what some of the guys that have them have done.  One guy has sprint car wings on his.  Everyone has put them away for the winter now, I will have to get a picture or two next year.
