Quote from: "Jbird"Hey Tony, I've got a couple of 135/65/15 Michelens with tubes.  That green one looks way cool. I like the gasser look too but I don't think I'd want to drive one  much over sixty mph.

I thought you were going to build a Crosley station wagon, like the one in the Scrubbing Bubbles commercial.

Happpy Neew  Beeer, er, Yeaar I mean.   Jbird 8)

No tube type tyres for me .

I am currently PO'd at my Crosley cars... they can sit to teach them a lessson.

Here is what I did to the Morris today....

I raised the body ride height up 1.5 inches in the front , 1.75 inches in the back end.

This has given me enough room ( I hope) for the front tyres to swing around for turns & suspension travel under the fenders.

Well..... the plasma cutter was busy today.

I raised the body as mention in earlier post.

Opened up the inner wheel well area.

I narrowed the cross member an additional 3 inches last night .

Looks like I got the front suspension  darn close at this point. I hope.

May go in a different direction on the front suspension...... a co-worker has a set of struts off an old race car.  I will take a look at them and see what design they are.

Still working on a design for a 4 link drag style rear suspension.  I want to run urethane bushed  type rod ends , not metal.
