Anybody still running "old style" sparkplugs

years ago , we would cut the heads as enjenjo mentions on early big block chevy aluminum heads so we could use the peanut plugs (as they were called in them daze) with the tapered sealing .

I used to swap around plugs from cars to my lawn mowers... seemed they fit

I'm gonna try and see, just for grins.

Well, I learned something else this weekend..................mower plugs fit :!:      

no more burnt wires on the #7 hole  

I believe it even runs better
