From the gaudy paint job, to the gaudy carved dash; that thing just screams 80's. That looks like an Alpine stereo that I had around '88 or '89, but he says the paint is a '90 Nissan color. Those kind of graphics were going out by then, from what I remember, so he was already behind the times when he built that thing, IMO.

I like some of the 80's music, and liked the girls "big hair" back in the 80's (I graduated in '87), but as far as I'm concerned the automotive styling of the 80's would best be forgotten...
