I see that we can check in at registration early on Thursday afternoon.  Can we enter the fairgrounds on Thursday?  I remember checking in on Thursday when we attended this event several years ago, but I am not sure if we went directly to the event after registration.

Is there an area where RRT people park, or do we just have a meet and greet at some designated time over the weekend?

At this moment, our car is ready, and we are good to go, but knows what may alter our plans during the next couple of days.

After 20 plus years of putting up our tent, we've learned that tents/canopies can be raised on Thursday after 2:00 PM. That's the time the NSRA officially takes control of the grounds.  See the previous posts.

The RRT people have been parking on the south east corner of the west field for what seems like forever. My wife and I will try and get there before 2 and park the car if they won't let us put up canopies, I plan on bringing two down to set up.
Is there anything going on Thursday night? we may stay down there instead of heading back to GR for the night.
You never have time to do it right the first time but you always have time to do it again.

Thursday night used to be the kickoff party at the headquarters. Weused to hang out and the parking lot and get rowdy. Haven't done that in years. My body doesn't tolerate rowdy much anymore.
A good friend will come and bail you out of jail...but, a true friend will be sitting next to you saying. "Wow...that was fun!"
