After 12 years building it  My little brother took his streetable sprint car to the drags. He ran an 11.07 he needs to change from a 3.73 to a 4.30 to see if it improves. The chassis was originally built by Kenny Niemier about 30 years ago. He has a speedway Vicky super modified glass body that fits on it.

And I thought a Cheetah was about as little car as you could wrap around a person.

Anything Sprint Car brings back memories of when my then-employer sponsored a World of Outlaws car.

Yeah not much use for any highway friendly final drive ratio there.

Reminds me of a Charles Bronson movie series.  :)

He called yesterday. He changed to a 4.71 rear axle ration and got it down to a 10.41.

I have my opinions. I think he has too much cam, and not enough convertor. I also believe that two Edelbrock 500 carbs could be part of the problem too as he hasn't dialed them in yet, and says he is too rich.
