Quote from: "crdnblu"As a first-time street rod builder, this question comes from ignorance on my part.  On a '37 Ford 2-Dr humpback sedan, do the stock rear window glass channels attached to the regulators have to come out for new glass installation?

I ask because, if not, then I want to install travel limit screws to keep the glass channels from travelling too far up & coming off track from the regulator assemblies during my current mock-up phase; a real pain!

Thanks for any & all input......

Hi there is a screw that holds the window channel on the the rollerstake it of the regulator goes in from the bottom I left the regulator sitting there and then put the window inheld in inplace with duct tape and wood window shims hade to open the regulator to get in the window channel and put the screw back in this took some time and I expanded my vocabulary Russ

November 22, 2005, 10:43:41 AM
Hi All
Been busy helping a friend with his 37 ford hump back it was a 60sa drag car and all modification was done with a smoke wrench we changed the cross member to a chassi engineering ,the problem is it,sa a four speed car chevy 327 with a m22 trans the cable speedo worked but with an electric speedo there is no room for the pulse gereator to fit between the linkage we need a flexible shaft or an extension where we can make a hole through the cross member and mount the * generator on the out side of the cross member any ideas  Russ
