on a slightly different thread...

remember that nice tire fill tank you bought but rarely use...

got some spare quick disconnects??? unscrew the hose at the valve..

put the QD plug in the valve on the tank.. (backwards from normal)

and the QD body on the end of the hose...

this allows you to fill the tire tank in seconds from your shop air... instead of a minute or two through the tire fitting..

open the valve after you hook up and close it before you disconnect...




at the last shop.. we had a 3/4" impact...    with a half inch 12 foot hose...  i put a tee on that end... a plug and a QD body... so i could plug into the end of the shop air hose.. and if the bolt was really tight... i could also hook it to the portable tire fill tank to get the extra boost of air from that source also... sort  of a surge  reserve...
