I previously posted this in the members section without any luck so I'm trying again.
Well as mentioned earlier I made a visit to the U.S. for the Kentucky Nats,Bonneville and Hot Aug Nights this year. What I didn't mention was I came looking for a project to bring back to Oz but I ended up buying something a bit more substantial and unexpected.
I finally picked it up yesterday after its 12 week journey across the high seas. I've probably done a 100 miles in it already and I'm extremely happy with it as it's a excellent driver.
I'm trying to track down the original builder and owner as the last one didn't know much about the cars specs. I would like to learn a bit about it's history and what was used in it's build as some parts are different to what we use here.
I bought the car in California.
The last owners name was Robert Biorkman from Camarillo Ca if that helps.
If anyone has any leads it would be greatly appreciated.
I maybe from down under but I know which way is up.
Oh hell there goes another head rush.

Did a Google search and found this:

Robert Biorkman (805) 445-1176 900 Calle Higuera,Camarillo, CA 93010

Don't know if this is the guy, but he was the only hit that I got.

Good luck.

Bob

Looks as though you came up with a nice ride. I wish I could hop in mine and take it for a drive but it is -15 degrees this morning. Brrrrr! It usually doesn't get below +10 in the winter in this part of Illinois.

Yeah a very nice driver, I'm really impressed with the build on it.
The car is better than I first thought it was.
The whole episode of importing it couldn't have gone any better. Not a mark on it.
We're in our summer down here and today it was 38 deg C (102 F) and tomorrow it's 40.
I guess I'll I have to turn the A/C on tomorrow while I'm out cruizin 8)
Luckily for us our winter is very mild compared to yours.
I know what I'd rather have.
