I have a Ford racing disc brake kit here that I am installing on a 77 Granada rear. Any one installed one of these kits in the past? I have a couple questions, and there are no instructions with the kit. I need to know what style bearing retainer is used, I'll have to change the ones on this rearend, as it's has disc brake brackets for retainers, and they won't work with the new kit. also, I need a PN for the brake hoses to the caliper.

I used the lincoln mark vi brakes on mine. I had to make a spacer to make up the difference on the backing plate thickness from drum to disc. I used aftermarket lines so I'm no help there. The mark vi is for a small bearing rear.

The kit I have is a M-2300-G, which I don't find on that instruction page.

I love these words of advice from the 2008 SVT Catalog and part of that brake kit;

"NOTE: Hoses, tubes, parking brake cables and wheels are NOT included in this kit.
Additional parts and machining may be required. For more information, call the
Techline at (800) FORD788"

My experiences with those folks is less then happy  :(

I think it's not much more then a bolt on, a couple of new lines and figure out how the e-brake cables need to run. I used Wilwoods on my '57 rear - and that's about what I had to do as the axle projection is different pre -64 and that meant moving them from one side to the other

Well, I think I have it figured out, I will have to replace the axle retainers. every thing else looks like it will work.
