project cars

As many of you know, I just made a trip from Nevada back to Ohio. One of the things I noticed was the number of collector cars for sale. there were literally hundreds of them. Most were not the most desireable cars, but I saw a 32 Ford 4 door for $7500, a 33 three window body, a 36 three window, and a ton of other Fords. I think if you want a project car, now is the time to go looking.

I am seeing more and more projects coming up on craigslist and ebay lately.  I already have two in waiting or I would be stashing others away.  If the right one does come along I do have a green light from management to pull the trigger.

there are a high number of projects  or  partial builds for sale.


A buddy has his 40 Ford body for sale.  He and his wife took off for a 1 month vacation in June.  Of course after 5 months of the Ford on various spots "for sale" ... he starts to receive calls from folks that want to look - see the old Ford while he is Oregon - Washington.


I may put a Morris and Crosley autos up for sale again... Maybe my Simca too.
