hey. i'm Tfeverfred and Coupefreak asked me to check this site out. I just got my first T Bucket legal and have been driving the wheels off of it. I'm in Houston, TX and look forward to being a member here.

I'll post pics when I figure out how things work here.

Grandadeo

Let me be the first to welcome you.  We have a few T's in the family here.  Don down here in Florida has built a really nice one and has several pictures of the construction posted.  Just a warning, there is one guy from Texas on here you need to look out for... but I guess I'll let you find that out on your own.  Welcome and lets see some pics.

Well, in order to post a pic, I have to have 5 posts under my belt, so I'll do a few bio's.

tfeverfred

I have been into cars ever since I was a kid, but I started to like hot rods after I saw American Grafitti when it came out. Did I just date myself!?

Like a lot of kids, my brother and I looked at and read just about every hot rod magazine there was. Always dreaming, but never doing. That trend continued all through my life. I did get into muscle cars, but my heart wanted a hot rod.

tfeverfred

In 1974, my dad took us to our first car show and I saw my first hot rods in person and a T Bucket. The rest is history.

What kept me away from building a hot rod was that it seemed that you had to spend a ton of money in order to get a nice one done. So, I got into muscle cars, but found out you had to be rich to have a nice one of those too. :(
